So... I was just going to pop this recipe at the bottom of the baked lemon cheesecake recipe. But then I decided by the amount of lip smacking and groans of pleasure that was associated with the cream that it deserved it’s own post.
It really is very simple….
Plonk the cream, a few dollops of lemon curd a splash of vanilla extract and a splosh of lemoncillo (lemon liquor) into a bowl.
Whip using beaters until light, fluffy and soft peaks form.
A note from Gracious Goodness :
You can be fancy and pipe the cream next to your desert, or you can be like me and dollop it on.
All quantities are dependent on the amount you wish to make and how lemony you wish to make it.
I must say though that the addition of the lemon curd does turn whipped cream into something special. There is no need to add any sugar as the lemon curd provides all the sweetness that is required.
